My American Idiot Vinyl

American Idiot was one of the albums I needed to have on vinyl and I got this from Amazon in January 2016. I really wanted to get one of the copies that had the colored vinyl but since it costed a little more, I decided to get the standard version which was cheaper. It's a double LP with a gatefold sleeve and it comes with a sheet that has the lyrics of the songs.

WMUWSE CD Single

This is the first UK CD single of "Wake Me Up When September Ends" and I remember getting this back in 2009. The b-side for this single is a wonderful live version of "Give Me Novacaine" which was recorded during an episode of VH1 Storytellers in 2005. At the start of the song Billie Joe Armstrong says "This song's called 'Novacaine!'" and I just love the way he said that. His speaking voice makes my heart melt. <3

The b-sides for the second UK single (which I don't have) were a live version of "Homecoming" from VH1 Storytellers and "Hitchin' A Ride" from the album Nimrod (1997).

My American Idiot CD

My CD of American Idiot that I first got nine years ago. I didn't mention this on my first post of this blog, but there is something different about this copy. This is actually a "clean" version of American Idiot. It was available on Walmart's website and I ordered it from there. Back then I was so happy there was finally a clean version of the album.
